2009 Jaguar XJR

The 2009 Jaguar XJR is a perfect blend of looks, performance and luxury. A performance version of the XJ series, the XJR features not only an all new aluminum body, but shorter wheel base as well. Interestingly enough, the whole series has its “R” insignia on just about everything you can possibly imagine, from the shifter, all the way to the badges. The engine is the same as in the XJ series, but is supercharged and nets the same gas mileage, EPA 17 city/ 24 highway.

Exterior:

The exterior of the Jaguar XJR has a stylish new but “classic” look to it. Keeping true to the saloon car styling that made Jaguar brand cars famous, the new XJR is no exception, but has whole new look about it. Seven spoke wheels and the classic wire mesh grille retain the Jaguar look, while an all new Brembo braking system allows the car to stop from 62.5 mph to 0 mph in just 118 ft. This braking system outperformed competing luxury rivals by 14 more effective stopping power.

Engine:

The 400 HP supercharged 4.2 liter V8 with ZF-sourced six speed automatic transmission allows the car to perform 33 percent more than the XJ variant.
